And once again the Gators defeat the heathen hordes of FSU and send them back to the primeval forests from which they sprang.
Gators pull out a big comeback win in Tallahassee 9-5. Tonight the Gator relievers were better than the Seminole starters. Attention Coach Jarrett, this is how the new normal feels. You better get used to it.
My applause to Colby Halter for getting his BA up to .283 and with a big triple at that. Really nice to see Cags get 4 hits after not getting a hit this weekend. Most important though is hats off to the bullpen for holding things together to give our bats a chance to score 8 unanswered and win this one going away. Hard to believe Abner's ERA is all the way down to 1.42 (according to the game stats) after being over 8 not long ago.
Probably shouldn't get too optimistic but I think Halter has locked down the starting third baseman. Solid defense, veteran presence and finally the bat. Love it when he drops down a bunt for a hit. Abner under control and pitching like the highly sought after recruit he was. Great to see.
Their Sunday game attendance was 4,116 to be exact. Gotta love when people make stuff up..... 4244 - Friday 4068 - Saturday Last nights game was 6384 Say what you want about fsu, however they have very good fan support led by the Animals section.
the swac will pull out all stops to try to beat the Mighty Gators. In crunch time they brought in their ACC Friday night starter in relief. Baumeister got roughed up for 4 hits.
I live in Tally and looked into going to the game but $85.00 for a less than premium seat - no thanks.
Someone is easily triggered lol. Watched a little on Sunday and those are definitely paid attendance numbers (like everyone else reports) because there were nowhere near 4116 butts in the seats. They do get really good support for their baseball program but lighten up - if you fact check everything said on here you are going to be a very busy man.
He may have tuned in in the top of the 8th on Sunday. That place cleared out pretty quickly. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
