The Friday night starter for the #1 team in the country with a 1.93 ERA is an average pitcher?
Wicklander's slider isn't helping us out much either.
I also agree that he was pretty consistent, but that one pitch was critical and why we are down now.
Best pitcher in the country in now
Top of the 7th
New Earl is #45 RSr Kopps
B/B - Calilao grounds out to short
You are calling their lefty an average pitcher. ? Lol
Should help Jud. Well he can't do any worse.
No one on / 1 out
Kc/Ks/B/F - Kirby grounds out to 3B
Total lack of intensity for an entire AB on our part IMHO.
Gotdamn that boy is slow.
Safe by a freaking mile!!!
Anybody else on the team and thats a hit
Uh, I knew Kirby was slow....but...
Did he say slow roller or slow runner.
Notice our runner does not hit the front of the base . He hits the middle. Another base running fundamental, another little thing another opp to have a runner . You have to drill that and make them hit the front
He don’t just tote that piano down the line—he plays it!
No one on / 2 outs
Kc/B/Kc/Ks - Rivera goes down swinging
But of course it wasn’t
Another pitch at the ankles called a strike.
