"Lefty Hunter Barco will give the Gators 41 MLB debuts since 2008 – five more than any college program." So we are not a college program?
Barco currently credited with the win in his debut after pitching the 6th with 2 hits (no K, BB, etc.) Pirates 4-2 Reds (Sep 23, 2025) Play-by-Play - ESPN I write "currently", because the scorekeeper is giving him the win on the "brief and ineffective" rule and that occasionally gets changed later. The Pirates' starter went 4.2 innings. The first reliever is credited with the next out and would normally get the win, but the out came when the Pirates' catcher threw out the runner at 2nd on a not-quite-WP. Brief, certainly; ineffective, can't argue with that either. Brady Singer gets the loss after a 5.1 IP, 4 ER performance.
