Yes, I do. As I stated above, I agree with your position. I will give you the condensed version of the story.
Somebody on the coaching staff truly believes in this kid and has convinced him to go balls- out and compete
for the chance to be the quarterback at the University of Alabama.

The quarterback situation at Bama is much more fluid than most realize.

Kid is a better wrestler than QB. OK State wanted him!

I know Tua talked about transferring last year. Jalen transferring this year. But Bama has 3 more kids coming in. I think the walk on may have been sold a bill of goods. Why go somewhere as a walk on to compete with 4 other guys?

    Yes, Jalen may transfer.

Tua has less than one game under his belt.

The three guys coming in may not even be there yet.

After Tua, I do not see a depth chart at all. This is why I feel the qb situation is very fluid.
They probably do not have a clue yet as to who the number two guy is at this time.
I think it is possible that the number 2 slot is wide open at this moment. If this might be true,
why not open things up and see what you have? Remember Shane Mathews came up in a
similar situation. The walk-on does have a year in the system.

I know all of this is a long shot, but it is certainly possible.

I can. He doesn't even mention Mac Jones, who is way, way, way ahead of the walk-on - even if Jones is #2 and the walk-on is #3.

I cannot disagree either. The walk-on could end up #3. Not to shabby.

All I have been saying is the quarterback situation is extremely fluid. More so than
    most folks realize.
