No big surprise here, as Aubs has had an easy schedule up until this point.
I was hoping that Auburn would be undefeated when they visit Billy Donovan Court this weekend. Oh well. I still feel confident in the win. At least we now have a video blueprint on how to attack Auburn's weaknesses.

I really wanted them undefeated coming into the ODome, but I also think this loss exposed a lot about them. I think we will beat them.

Yeah, I think we will beat them too, if we play our "A" game.

They will be harder to beat coming off a loss. Pearl will have them ready to run through a brick wall.

While many of you were minimizing our come from behind win against Alabama, I think by the end of the season, Alabama is Oats is going to have them on the bubble for an NCAA bid. He has some nice players starting with Lewis and Petty and their rout of Auburn was no fluke

I said it after the win:

“Wow, one of the best Gator games I’ve ever seen in the last 40 years. Kids never quit and good For White. Liked his fire and passion today”.

btw, not sure where Bama was predicted but they will beat some teams they aren’t supposed to beat. Good shooters and a good young coach.

I know some wanted Awbrin to be unbeaten when they show up in Gainesville. But if we're serious about winning the conference, it's a chance for us to hang a second loss on them and knock them out of first place.

Watching that game last night I’m thinking how in the hell did we beat Bama.Their athleticism is unreal. Auburn also has athletes I wish we had. Both teams are so fast and will run and attack downhill. We seem to play a more horizontal game and methodically run our offense .. ala Virginia

I just hope our game this Saturday is spirited and played in a similar manner as we did with Old Miss. No one is immune to losing games this season.

@tilly In light of this, I'm editing my bet to the following: if we beat Baylor, I'll hold myself in contempt for the remainder of the season.

Most turnovers on season , combined w/ worst FG% of season, combined w/ 37 Bama FT attempts(lol) Theres the formula. Bama did very little to cause any of that,, just one of those nights.

Our guards played under control in the 2nd half and OT. Auburn's guards were awful last night, so they let Bama run and that's a problem. I suspect the opposite will happen when they play in Auburn.

Those of us with losses in conference kinda needed Auburn to lose. Its not shocking that they're no longer undefeated at this point but I'll give them credit for making it as long as they did. Sure, weak schedule. But most teams have lost to worse teams than Auburn has played. This year, more than most, kinda seems like simply winning games you're supposed to win is an achievement.

Wowza. Like everyone else I wanted them to be undefeated on Sat, but shows that Bama is no slouch. Makes our comeback against them even more impressive.

You're probably right but I've always wondered if anyone has done the research to prove this or if we're just going with logic or assumptions about human nature. All someone would have to do is look at a teams' winning percentage in games after a loss and compare it to overall winning percentage. Part of me wonders if there would be a significant difference.
