When we really needed it he came across.
Might be my favorite gator since Pat Young. Also a great post-game interview.
Mann came through big time too with 17 pts, 7 boards, and 3 steals. Also, Locke regained some of his shooting rhythm and wound up with 15 pts and 4 boards
That was a gutty performance from the Gators tonight with no Lewis or KJ and trailing most of the 2nd half. CC really made some big plays to change the game around.
More than just a win this showed the guys what they can do when they don't give up and continue to play hard.
Castleton knew he had played soft against UK and he came back with a better effort.
Yeah, I also believe he created some Of his own opportunities rebounding. I’d like to see us focus on getting him the ball a little bit more early. He alters shots and is a solid rebound or something we haven’t had in a while
Duruji with his energy and athleticism playing next to Castleson really helps, too.
He will have to add some muscle before we can count on him to do that on a regular basis. Great effort tonight but he struggled against teams like Kentucky and Alabama that had big guys with athleticism. He has a frame that could easily add bulk but he’s gonna have to hit the weights hard in the off season.
Yes sir, I love that kid. Does a lot of things that don’t show up in the stat line. Alters shots, tips balls, dives for loose balls, and never stops. Interesting to me that our transfers stand out not just with their place so far but with how hard they hustle and it seems like they all have an extra gear intensity wise. Hoping to God it rubs off on some others.
Oh yeah, I agree with you completely but against teams like Ole Miss there’s no reason he can’t go for 20 and 10 every game. Oh that to happen we can always count on him to take over in the second half. I also think he can add to his game if he can work on hitting the 12-15 foot shot facing the basket.
He was really tentative against UK. He has to understand, he can't just muscle up against SEC post players and win. He has to get his back up and get after it. Like tonight. Don't worry about it when you miss a couple of shots.
Looking forward to smoother passing to him and clean kickouts. He's having to really battle and make crazy catches in tough positions. This team is fighting but still very out of sync. Not surprising and plenty of room for improvement. Will be entertaining, fun and frustrating.
As I asked in aka's thread, I wonder if CC actually had a triple double. Seems like the stats counter missed some of his blocks.
100% agree! What an interview. Definitely my favorite player now.
Thank goodness for transfers!!!! He brought the energy tonight.
Duruji had a poor offensive game stat wise, with only 3 points in 39 minutes, but he did all the little things to help us win

Didn't realize he played that much. I agree. But, that's more than you can ask for regarding a transfer.
He brings a much needed passion to the game. I can't remember the last time a Gator had 7 blocks in 1 game. Noah?
Castleton was in full beast mode last night
Noah is who I compared his passion to on the premium boards. He's a full-time competitor and shows it. He may just be the spark this team has been needing.
