I guess they might rename the TD Ga'den, Hofod's House in Boston.

Average Al, without the help of two hurt all-stars and another hurt starter for most of the game, had a post-season high in scoring: 26 points and 8 rebounds.

I must have missed the reference. Did someone refer to Al as "average?"

So is a team player. Not selfish. Always has a high shooting percentage and basketball IQ. If he wanted to score 20 per night, he could do so. Not his game to hog ball

    Love Horford, hate the celtics.

I dont follow Atlanta, but it seems they have fallen on hard times after he left.

Nothing is 'average' about 3 touchdowns in one game for Polk High.

Some Boston sports reporter started calling him Average Al. Guy is an idiot. Horford is the heart and soul of that team.

Thanks and wow. Some folks need to work extra hard for attention. Big Al is anything but average. In every way

Apparently you only need to score to be elite in the NBA. What you do on the other half of the court is irrelevant.

FWIW the folks on the ABC broadcast of the Eastern Conference Finals are doing their best to contradict anything some insignificant local scribe may have written. They been touting Al throughout this game with constant praise and in-game interview clips. And yeah, I get that Boston is a major market, but I doubt that this idiot reporter+his publication have the same reach as the ABC broadcast, ESPN and their various streaming affiliates.

And he's earned pretty high praise from his head coach who's apparently said the whole team "looks to Al" to lead them, but it is still a bummer when a local writes such negative stuff.
