Did a tweet and delete aka tweeted something then deleted it
Did he take the Georgia trip or was this brief message him tweeting from home wishing he was here already?
He wishes he was in Gainesville? Yeah...
Link to live announcement? Is it on ESPN?
We dodge a bullet on this.
yea man. Im one to make a Miami vs UF rivalry joke but this is sad. Whats sad is that he already has TWO kids and already has baby #3 on the way before he’s even 20 and had to sit out last season with a heart condition or something to that effect. Young man has waaaaay too much to lose
I do feel bad for the guy personally but it's yet another reason NOT to freak out over 1 lost recruit.
So many of them don't pan out.
Or in Bowman's case, he got here anyway.
I hear you but man it’s so frustrating because he has wayyyy too much to lose
It was a hard pill to swallow at the time, but, I'm glad he's someone else's problem now. You know this board would have been blaming the staff for taking risky recruits again if he were here.
Echoing what Distant said, recruiting is all about predicting the future. None of us can, and thank God for that. We wouldn't really want to know it. We aren't recruiting athletes. We are recruiting people. And it is impossible to really know anyone that well. Lord knows I get surprised every day even with knowing myself. So a kid could be the world's best athlete and may be the absolute worst person you would want on your team. Nu'Keese ring a bell? I remember people freaking out about how Lane got one over on Urban and how this was a foreboding of the future. It's like having a bad day at work, then thinking you'll get fired and then extrapolate that to a home under a bridge.
I hope Avantae makes great comeback, physically and spiritually. Life is all about great comebacks.
Just as the ocean is a collection of drops, so are our recruiting failures collections of misses.
Sounds like a "playa" - Remember JJ (Janoris Jenkins) - had a passle of young uns, fortunately he did make it in the NFL.
Hope he straightens out, can't raise those kids proper sitting in Starke all day and night.
He's done. I feel less sorry for him than most on here. I do feel sorry for his kids, though.
I’m flabbergasted by the people on here saying they “feel bad for him” or “hoping he makes a great comeback”…F that.
Speaking personally As a soon to be new Dad myself this POS can rot for the rest of his life. Zero tolerance for that kind of behavior.
