Asking for some too hot thoughts and prayers tonight

    So sorry she had to go through that. My husband rebounded quickly. He is not in the best shape either. My sister has a tear in her aorta, they are just keeping an eye on it. If she has to have the surgery, it is extremely risky.

    Got her home yesterday. They suggested a couple of weeks in a rehab facility but she was having no part of that. The doctors said as long as I was there 24/7 she would be OK at home. I have about 20 pages of printed instructions but I'm learning to be a nurse. We purchased a used hospital bed & table for one of the spare bedrooms, it's a bit of an antique but hey it works good she can use the remote to raise her head and feet. I moved out of the master br into the bedroom next to hers. They are sending out a nurse for an hour or two every couple of days to check on her.

    Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. I'm sure she has a long road ahead before a full recovery but she is getting better every day.

    Glad to hear that your gal is back home and on the mend. I bet your pup is happy to see her too.

    So glad shes home 51. I hope she drives you nuts ringing the nurses bell. ;)
