Article: Transfer Portal Target: Arkansas’ Boogie Fland

Years ago I had a boss who grew up in Beverly Hills (with money), and he always said Kansas City was his favorite place. From what I understand Lawrence is almost a suburb of KC--well east of the corn fields.

 

I thought Kansas was more wheat than corn.

 

100s of miles of tall plants. I guess the corn is prettier

 

It's about an hour on K-10 from Lawrence to Kansas City. The suburbs on the Kansas side (where I grew up) are obscenely wealthy.

Either way, the stuff one makes fun of about Kansas are all west of Lawrence, and would have about as much relevance to Boogie Fland's life as Baker County would if he chose UF.

 

JMO, if Denzel is worth 2M to UK, Fland is worth at least double that if not more to most teams. It would surprise the heck out of me if we got Fland at all, much less for 3M, but who knows.
