By: Nick Marcinko -- May 24, 2025 Fresh off a National Championship, Florida basketball aimed to rebuild a roster that lost a trio of senior guards to eligibility. The Gators added a pair of top 20 guards through the transfer portal in Arkansas’ Boogie Fland and Princeton’s Xaivian Lee, a duo that’s garnered plenty of attention given their athleticism, play making ability, and high ceiling. One addition that may be overlooked is Ohio guard AJ Brown, who committed to Florida on April 24th and ranked as the No.32 guard in the portal, according to 247Sports. Brown dealt with a shoulder injury that required surgery in the offseason, which may have kept other teams from acquiring about the rising junior. “Flown under the radar”: Todd Golden details AJ Brown’s addition | GatorCountry.com
Nick must be using the same dictation my cellphone has. It changes what I write even after I've finished and as I hit send. Once I was discussing someone with Asperger's Syndrome and sent my text only to see the "smart" AI dictation had changed it to "ass burgers syndrome." LOL!
We have signed two program changing guards. One is a sophomore but we expect him to play one year. One is a senior who will play one year and another one has two years of eligibility remaining but is just “really really good”…. I wonder who will mean the most to us looking back on it.
