Yep, I’ve seen that. Three to $500 for decent tickets. I don’t mind driving in Friday and taking one day off of work but having to drive in Wednesday and take 3 daysoff of work makes it a lot more expensive of a trip

 

True, I see the players talent between the two squads as fairly even. It could be a very close game which would mean it likely comes down to a poor coaching decision (or conservative coaching decision) or a key call at some point in the game.

Cute anecdotal story in that write-up. If he "bumps" into our 300+ D-lineman in The Swamp the only learning lesson will be on Ward while he's getting squashed like a bug on a windshield of a Mac truck doing 80... He won't be grinning as he falls into the fetal position onto the turf.

Here's the thing about him. He had decent completion percentages and he can be illusive on his feet. But as you can see by his team's record one player can't win games for you. I hope we keep him scrambling for his life all game long.

As it has been said before, the Miami game will not determine Billy’s fate. But I can’t see how he saves his tenure if he loses that one.

 

Yeah I’ve already got that whole week blocked out to make the trip down for the game. That’s a steep price though. But since Miami games are few and far between, I guess I’ll have to bite the bullet for this one.

 

In essence, it seems like you are saying that game WILL determine his fate. Don’t get me wrong, losing it will not be good, but it’s the first game of the season and there are plenty of opportunities to for us to have a decent season. To be honest, Im not expecting much this year regardless and would give CBN 2025 before I would curb him, if needed.

Spurrier's first game as HBC didn't. I can still envision the sea of fingers being held up in front of the stadium and virtually no tix being held up.

 

We didn’t even have cell phones. You can buy anything instantly these days. Just don’t try it at Ron Zook Field as their internet is basically unusable. I had to go three blocks away to get it to download ltickets.

 

Same thing happened to me at UF the first game they only had digital tix. I had to stand in line at the O'Connell Center to get it fixed and missed some of the Alabama game. Very frustrating.

 

Don’t shit your pants in the bathroom in the oconnel center. You get no signal and end up naked in a stall. Has to get some dude to go find my girlfriend to buy me some new shorts.
