There are several good videos in the 2025 Fall Camp Videos thread . . . By: Nick Marcinko -- August 8, 2025 There wasn’t a huge roster turnover for Florida’s offense this offseason. The Gators returned prominent players at every position, which led to the staff adding just two scholarship offensive players through the transfer portal, including wide receiver J.Michael Sturdivant. The 6’3, 213-pound receiver started his career at California where he hauled in 65 catches for 755 yards and seven touchdowns in 2022, earning First Team Freshman All American selections from three different publications. “Match made in heaven”: J.Michael Sturdivant’s skillset pairs well with DJ Lagway | GatorCountry.com
That was a good write-up on Sturdivant. Thank you for posting it, ET. Here's more on him. https://247sports.com/college/flori...chael-sturidvant-offense-dj-lagway-252426450/
They should be a dangerous duo this year. Out of boredom and suffering from College football summer withdrawals, I occasionally watch DJ's highlights from last year. Man he was stupid good. So were Badger and Dike. I'm stating the obvious here, but man, it sure looks like we have what we need for a successful year. My late summer hopium has ramped up considerably. I'm expecting the playoffs this year. I'm stirring up that big old round pitcher of Gator Kool Aid about now!! Unless I'm mistaken, our defense against Ole Miss, Florida state and LSU was freaking awesome. Can they actually be better this year? Less than a month left...woohoo. Go Gators.
I get the excitement about D Wilson But I think Sturdivant will be the primary deep threat. More experience, half a step faster and more practice reps. Dude has a catching radius wide as the hash marks.
Here's another one Rick: Gators' Sturdivant Reaching Breakneck Speeds, Getting Stronger We've got some weapons on offense for sure!
This receiver has a chance to be our best one this year... he has all the tools/measurable, and he's freaking talented... Nice find, ET. Look at this catch...
