It matters way less in college basketball than any other sport. Anyone good from big time programs either stay there or leave for the nba…small schools have really good players who outgrew that opportunity and decide to try a bigger spot. There are infinitely more reasons a pretty good player ends up at a small school while he figures it out. Not to mention it’s the one sport where small schools have a chance- FAU ring any bells? George mason? Belmont. Even wofford was good a couple years bk didn’t they beat Duke in the tourney?

 

very true but those teams wining in the NCAA are not common.

 

these days there's talent everywhere capable of helping at the SEC level. Will Richard has all the tools to be really good for us, just needs to get a little more aggressive looking for his shot next season.

Mack is a solid player but if we're poaching from Wofford I'd love for coach Golden to take a run at Pavaletzke, that kid can fill it up and was only a freshman last year.
