Roberts seems confident with depth at DT.

Yeah, that was quite a relief, TBH. There's been a fair amount of agita in the media over the lack of depth in the middle of the DL recently, and it's nice to see that it ain't necessarily so. In addition to one of the veteran doomsayers I saw quacking away on this subject during a local podcast this morning, I also saw some "fan" whining about all the 270 LB. DTs we'll be playing this season, in the comments section. Such is life in the preseason. Is it 8/30 yet?

If that group of relatively new D-lineman became a force this coming year then we can honestly say that Ron Roberts has that group in reload mode... versus rebuild mode. We know Juluke has the running backs in reload mode and Gonzo has the receivers in reload mode too. The DBs and Safeties are seemingly this year's season away from being in reload mode too/. We need to get every position group in reload mode to compete as one of the best teams in the SEC.

The only position groups that are not quite up to reload status are the O-line, QB's and the Tight Ends. Fix that and we have a top tier football program.

All this bodes well for our team's chances to get to the post season games.
