Not hard for me. At 6'6 Pitts is a redzone nightmare. Not to mention he was making triple coverage look like cakework ( see his last catch as a Gator, TD reception with 3 defenders on him.) Percy was nice and could potentially take it to the house at any moment but I've also seen Percy contained at times, never seen any team take pitts out the game , aside from a targeting penalty lol
Ain't no one gonna be as accurate as KT was this past year. It was a special year. The QB decision making will be the real key to how well the O performs next year though.
Ogeron's hey Siri- "Heb Sibi Cam Yuza tella meeea dat tima oba deea daya...potato spaceship?" Siri- WTF I cant understand what you are saying...maybe get the marbles out of your mouth and I can understand you....you sound like a dumb drunk Cajun. Siri can translate 155 languages but yours isnt one of them. Id have better luck translating a 3 year old in a room full of screaming kids at My Gym than your mumbo jumbo.
Any word as to when we should hear the good or bad news? Wouldn’t he need to enroll in the next week or so to be at school for spring practice?
In that scenario the B listers see PT I guess. For Arik maybe he just wants to play with more stability and a better offense.
I would agree but I would also say this… If Jones wins the job Richardson has to have some packages. Way too much talent to sit or clean up when up by 30. He will make the offense much more dynamic. I think he was four stars but ceiling wise this kid is a five star talent.
It’s not going to be as good but it can be adequate. And if the D gets back to normal we could still have a good year. Gonna depend on QB decision making IMO.
It’s not all about accuracy, it’s about reading progressions too. Anyone with a cannon can throw to their first read when it’s open, Franks was a baller at that. At a P5 QB role if a QB isn’t accurate we have major issues, which we saw with a lot of QBs on roster the last 10 years. The concern with EJ is we’re going from a player that would basically read all his progressions to a QB that can maybe cycle 2 options before needing to run to extend the play. Now with his legs I assume Dan will find ways to get EJ more comfortable and creative with the pass game - but if that’s the goal AR is the superior athlete and will likely be better at it. Anyway, I have hope EJ can develop more as a dropback passer in the offseason but after this much time in the program it’s a little surprising we haven’t seen much more than his limited redshirt season.
I think the term package means smaller playbook with more reps on those specific plays maybe D&D or field position specific. You are right they probably would be plays the EJ wouldn’t/couldn’t run. Might even be a play just run by EJ.
Their package wouldn’t be much different I wouldn’t think and with AR having two years on campus, there’s no reason that he wouldn’t have the entire playbook at his disposal. Mop up may be more like it fir the second guy.
Actually really good point Wanne as AR and EJ could alternate and AR should have full grasp of the playbook. I personally just don’t see how we don’t get AR involved. He’s a ridiculous athlete and although still needs work he could be great. I truly believe his upside is that high.
