I thought I read somewhere he was home sick, that’s why UGA was the first choice but Pitts has helped him with us and Gainesville I think is like 5-6 hrs only from his hometown. Maybe shorter.

I like our TE talent but if staff wants him amd we win games with him so be it.

hell yea he was ballin. LSU kinda disfunctional plus the word was he tried to dip before him being busted for weed got out (just a rumor). But yes, he’d be our best offensive player should he transfer in

He was a sensation as a freshman for LSU. Perhaps the best catching TE coming out of high school for decades. He has a higher ceiling than Pitts. Whether we can get him the ball like Trask did for Pitts is to be seen, but no school would turn him down in deference to their current TE.

They don't do it with the kids, but with their families, who don't talk, because they don't have to. NCAA has no subpoena power, and can't make people talk.

That's how it works now. New house? May or may not be in parent's name. They may just get to live there- for free. But they still get it.

New car? May or may not be in the parent's name. Maybe the dealer just lets them drive it, or leases it to them and doesn't collect payments. But they get it.

Jobs? Parents get a job from a booster, make serious coin, and sure as hell don't talk. Tua's family moved from Hawaii to Tuscaloosa. Seriously????

That is exactly what the Gumps, LSU, Georgia, and so on are doing. Unless wiretaps are placed (by the FBI), or the recipients talk, there is no way the NCAA can prove squat. The NCAA can't place wiretaps, and recipients don't talk. The only one I can think of that did is that doofus from Florida who went to Ole Miss.

I doubt that very much. He may have been a higher rated recruit but Pitts is a freak. We may never see a TE like that again.

There is no higher ceiling at the college level than Pitts.

Go watch some high school hudl highlights and some of his catches from this year with LSU, and you will see why I say this. He is an absolute freak. We need to get him because we don't want to play against him.

I agree we need to get him and I’m excited about the possibility. Believe me, I hope I’m wrong and he has a higher ceiling than Pitts. I hope he scratches the surface of that ceiling in college, if it’s at UF.

But Kyle Pitts was a cheat code for us this year. Best skill position player to wear the orange and blue since Percy Harvin. I don’t know if Arik will get to that in his college career.

Actually I think he had 35 catches as a true freshman and is supposed to be great. Probably all the turmoil at corndog U has something to do with it.

And I know Percy is almost a mythical legend but Pitts was double covered , sometimes triple with perfect positioning but a good throw and the defenders had no chance. This isn’t an isolated incident but more of the norm. Percy had a different skill set entirely but if I had to choose one, it’s not as easy for me, not at all.

The perfect throw part is what may be a problem next year.

Glad to see someone translated Ogeron Potato Spaceship language to a tweet so I can actually understand what he said for a change. Honestly Id give anything to crack open a six pack, sit down and hand him an iphone and watch him and Siri go at it for an hour. That would be some funny shit watching Siri try and understand him.

Jones is an accurate passer and will only get better. AR seems to be pretty good as well.
