Check your stats. Your new QB loves throw deep.

The UGS TEs caught less than 25 passes this year, combined. Our backups were close to that. (5 in the Cotton Bowl alone)

    Washington - 7 catches
    Kitty kitty - 6 catches
    Fitzpatrick - 10 catches

Mullen's offenses have always included TEs. Look back to Cornelius Ingram, Hernandez and now Pitts.

Not sure what videos you watched of Watson, he's agile and moves well for a guy his size. He clogs up the middle with ease. Thomas plays similar but has a much faster first step (being nearly 100 pounds lighter helps there). These two guys are going to be important as it looks like they'll be thrown to the wolves in the 2-deep rotation next year.

watson is far overweight...that is true. But he moves well for his size. Far better than Mt Cody ever moved. He will be a force next year.

This is actually the one time where we can use their never ending complaint "what about Hernandez" against them.

Of all the positions we do not need help, TE.

Mckitty will always be my favorite criminole after that game where he lined up backwards on a play. I point it out every time I see his name. It was just phenomenal

Gamble was targeted 9 times in the Cotton Bowl. 1 reception. So that's huge opportunity for someone to come in and take

Agree. throw Watson and Thomas in there and no running up the middle at the very least.

Is that really true? There were only 20 total incompletions by UF QBs in that game, and, you're saying 8 of them went at Gamble?

Per CBS Sports box score for the game.

Any prospective TE recruit should be able to see that our offense is very TE friendly.

Yep, Shorter had a big one too. So there are plenty of options for a big guy to come in and make some plays.

Watson was absolutely unblockable when he's fresh. Mullen in recruiting presser brought him up and said Watson told him he's down to 385 from 400.

Taylor may "look" the part, but a DT that can barely bench 225lbs is troubling, SEC OL would destroy him. No wonder he chose the acc in Miami.
