You are post 213. There are plenty of posts in the other 212 posts which can answer your absurd question.
I think he doesn’t believe there is a Crime unless there is a person that suffered a direct loss. And because there is no person that we can prove who suffered a direct loss when Trump lied and hid highly sensitive documents, there can be no crime. Ergo, civil war is needed because Trump is the true victim.
Trump can say other politicians have paid hush money to whores. He can say other politicians have kept unclassified documents in their homes. He can say other politicians have organized violent protests. But he can’t say other politicians have setup fake electors, tried to cajole state officials to commit election fraud on his behalf or asked their VP to decertify the election. That’s part of the reason why this one is so important.
you have to be denser than a black hole to spend your 15 minutes of faulty analysis to come to the conclusion that my op was about the accountability of Trump. Try writing another thesis, but this time focus on the consequences of Trump. You may reach a cogent point.
Ok well I see you meticulously 'disliked' all of mine so I thought maybe mine were the only ones you were reading. Any thoughts on the premise of this thread?
That was my point. The riot was almost like a bullet point to the overall scheme of overturning the election (which was apparently the only thing this clown was doing at this time, he was no longer acting as President). It also isn’t as if Trump is the only one that incited the riot. Effectively all the organizers and speakers of that rally did. The main “defense” seems to be that the nutjobs were already planning to riot anyway or had even made some moves before Trump spoke or was finished speaking. Whether the riot is brought into the pending criminal case on “election interference” or as a separate charge probably depends on what sort of premeditation is shown in communications with the organizers. What type of warnings Trump may have received from his own staff. Etc.
Trump apologists want to limit 1/6 to just a discussion of the riot. The fact is that is was a weeks long coordinated effort orchestrated out of the Willard Hotel war room by Stone and Bannon amongst others. I bet you they will find cell phone calls traced to the White House from the Willard too.
Exactly! Why wouldn't they be confronting maraca-shaking hysterical flamenco dancers? I don't know if the Far Right could gun down someone wearing a feather boa and dancing . . . unless they started a Conga line or something, obviously.
trump follower in a long-winded, angry post, threatening us how maga is going to kill a bunch of people. When did this segment of the repub party become so irrational and full of hate?
Let’s just clear one thing up. I don’t want to kill anyone, and I certainly don’t speak on behalf of the US military. I am a reservist, that when called upon will do my duty, so long as it is a lawful order.
So, the OP presumed you don't own firearms (anyone who spends time on TH knows you are a firearms enthusiast) and now that you don't know about indictments. This new lawyer person is all . . .
For those of you who missed it, Governor DeSantis' reaction this morning upon the learning of the new indictment from Jack Smith...
