AR pulls himself out of Colts QB position because he was tired.

QBs don’t get to tap their heads to be subbed out. As a leader, it’s a horrible look. I’m rooting for AR, but I don’t think he has the internal drive to be a successful NFL player.

Probably lingering side-effects from when he got put to sleep for his new tattoo.

Is there another position is sports that carries and demands leadership more than QB?
    You don't get tired.

I remember hoping and praying AR would finally find the competitive fire to will us to a win over FSU in 2022. He had opportunities. Instead, Jordan Travis showed what it means to “put a team on his back” and carry them across the finish line. He willed them to a win that night while our guy looked like he just wanted to get on the bus and go home in crunch time.
He is a millionaire many times over because he was born with magnificent athleticism, siza and speed. He has missed games with injuries in high school, college and as a pro. How his star rose so high with his performance record is baffling.
I still hold out that some day a light will come on but I wouldn’t bet the farm on it.

Agree. It isn't like he ran a marathon, for crying out loud.

How long did he run? 5-6 seconds per play? Then he had 30 seconds, perhaps more, to recuperate between plays?

It's embarrassing really, and I'm sure the Colts management views it the same way. AR didn't get drafted because of his precision passing and decision making. He was drafted because he could run, and hopefully improve his passing. Now, if he can't run, he is of zero use.

I never understood him going so high in the draft.

Looks like he quit. Needs to get his head back in the game. A lot of pressure for a guy that so often cannot make the plays his offense requires.

Awful look. Audible to a run if you have to.

I think he's cooked. His best chance now is to take a small contract after next year, get a few years of practice reps, learn how to throw short routes with accuracy and hope he gets a chance again in a couple three years.

I'll need to look elsewhere this week for my interception and under passes completed props.

He’s been bad but if you watch the plays preceding it’s clear why he would be tired. Other players tap out for much less. He should have stayed in and just handed off. The real problem is his play.

He’s been bad but he’s not as bad as it looks. It looks bad because it’s different. He’s been about as productive as Caleb Williams. They both have basically the same number of NFL starts and Williams has way more college starts. The problem is Richardsons value comes from running and that is heavily discounted by the public. And his passing is like 5% awesome and 95% terrible, nothing in between. That produces really weird looking stats

Anyone remember the late 4th quarter slant AR threw, vs LSU(?) where he rocketed the pass and it was all but uncatchable? Felt for the guy. Terrible call for his skill set. Game over.

He could have avoided this by saying "I felt a tweak" or "I got the wind knocked out of me" something to save face, nah he went with he was tired.

The weakest thing about AR is his desire to be a great (or even really good) football player.

Playcalling has to be noted but a qb doesnt take himself out.

I was at that game and the clowns stormed the field. Gator fans were kinda laughing at the absurdity of it.

He’s been bad this year and his future in the Not For Long league isn’t looking good. Oh well, he still seems like a good dude and at least he got life-changing money to help his family.
