Zuniga’s ankle must be seriously jacked up. He’s missed the better part of five games over it. Greenard has arguably been our best player this year. Can’t afford to have him miss much time, if any.

I would say we’ll know more Monday but Mullen said this past Monday he expected Zuniga to be close to 100 percent and that was the justification for holding him out of the Auburn game. Well he barely played against LSU.

Recovering from a high ankle sprain is no joke.. I've had them playing baseball and what I learned is even if it feels good to go, when you exert a great amount of pressure, there's still going to be a tenderness to it.... It takes a lot of time for it truly recover when exerting that kind of pressure that Z is putting on it.

Will it matter? As stated zuniga nearly 100% and we aee how that went. Same for Greenard. I place zero value in Mullen's injury report.

With that said, it didn't take thia game for me to realize how important those two are to our success. The fact that Greenard masked Zunigas absence says everything. Our linebackers and secondary outside of Henderson and Wilson are very average. Not bad but not playmakers. Look at the true freshman LB at georgia. They lost but that guy was all over the field...as a freshman.

Zuniga and Greenard mask A LOT

Meanwhile, Cox still sits on limbo waiting for clearance...

If we ever needed help from NCAA it’s now! Of course they’ll finally decide after Mizzou probably

Dont hold your breath. I don't expect them to clear him until after the season.

Had those two been a full go last night our defense would have looked completely different. Dumping on TG w/o his two all world DLs just doesn’t make sense. He wanted to Pressure with 4 and drop 7 and give Burrow different looks. No way when those guys went out. See the Auburn game plan for what TG wanted to do.

High ankle sprains can take months to recover from. Both could be out a long time.

What is even more frustrating is the odds of BOTH players as SR. developing the basically the Same injury at the same time playing the same position.

LSU broke my heart, but, it is repairable. I should be game-ready by Saturday. It's only a low-heart sprain.

Cox isn't going to play this season, he isn't going to get clear.

Took me two months to get over a high ankle sprain from skateboarding.

It's gonna suck, and there's no cure except for time.

Depends on the severity of the sprains. Zuniga obviously had a pretty serious one. Hopefully Greenard is not all that bad.

Damn snake bit with injuries to starters at times it seems.

Going to be damn hard to beat Georgia, hell even SC without them. Not expecting to beat Georgia at this point. I would be happy with a 10-2 season considering the injuries. Hope we get RB EJ Smith out of Dallas for next year.
