Great game but brutal hit on KP. Any information how he is doing? Not worried about his availability to play just his well being.

Mullen asked about Kyle Pitts: "We'll see. Trainer said he would be out for the game. We'll see how he is as the week goes on."

That safety should be suspended for more than just this game. That was vicious targeting.

If we are Kyless at either position, we r in trouble guys. Took another record away from Trask. Dan played timid from there on. I guess he knows best but it scared the hell out of me!

I wouldn’t call it that. They were just both going full speed at each other. The full speed made it a worse impact, but I didn’t consider it dirty. However it was definitely the proper call per the rule.

Dirty play. You don’t go high anymore. He could have easily went for the hit in the midsection and he chose to go high on Pitts while Pitts was straight up.

I'd guess at most he misses Arkansas. He'll bounce back.

He seemed pretty well afterwards. Didn't seem out of it.
I had a pretty severe one years ago, I didn't remember anything until my 3rd CAT scan. My brain was scrambled for about 6 weeks.
Hopefully they don't rush him back this week if there's any effects.

You could use that play as the training video to explain what targeting is. You could use Pitts concussed status to explain why such plays which were historically celebrated are now banned.

Dawg safety was on Pitts the whole game and it was obvious he couldn't cover him and was getting blown out every time. Sooner or later, players like that go rogue and try to get away with a bad hit to take them out. It worked, but at what a price. That safety looked like he got the worse end of it and it showed. But with Kirby as his coach, you just know there'll be no discipline.

The guy who makes the hit often ends up getting the worst of it actually, as was the case today. The rule actually is in place just as much to protect them. Cine had tweety birds going around his head after the hit.

Gamble and Zipper were still able to make some key plays in that Georgia game. Pitts will be missed as he is also a good decoy that allows other players to get open also.

Mullen probably wanted to shorten the game by running the ball and taking some time off the clock. It was a good thing that the UGA QB's could not throw an accurate pass deep that connected. UF was fortunate as the safeties still could not get back deep enough to defend those passes had Georgia thrown more accurately.

On that miss by our kicker McPherson, Florida probably should have run a play to center the ball (just like before the end of the 1st half) in between the hashes to give the kicker a better angle.

On that 2nd/3rd time that Florida got in field goal range, it was just unfortunate that UF couldn't make that 4th & 4.
