I'm not hellbent on him being suspended. He was suspended and it won't be overturned. Appeal or not. I'm being realistic. You have it in your head the league office will overturn it because it was so obvious to you. I'm saying they won't because there is video evidence of targeting. Also there is no evidence any targeting suspension being overturned that I know of, if you know of a player this year that has had their targeting suspension overturned please show it, I would like to know.
I don’t like the rule, but it was targeting. Remember, the call on the field was no targeting and they reviewed it and called it targeting. This isn’t getting reversed. I can see a scenario where if it were called wrong and there wasn’t sufficient video evidence to overturn it and the call stood (not confirmed)…then there’s a chance the appeal may work.
