Why don't you fly over to Afghanistan and find out for yourself? It'll either kill you or make a man out of you.

Truly, I think Calloway is selling himself short. His dumb, selfish antics, which took the place of training hungrily every day for Michigan, made a huge difference. And I’m sure the Michigan, Crim et al. fans thank him and wish him well in his future endeavors.

Being surrounded by young American soldiers as young or much younger than Calloway, I find myself somewhat insulted on their behalf that Calloway is being defended for his "immature behavior." After all, he is not fully grown...

    This soldier is probably younger:

Probably a few of these soldiers as well:

For those who served, I ask you: What is the maximum effective range of an excuse?

Curious if those defending AC's actions would feel the same if he was a Nole. I'm gonna say doubtful.

Some on here have no idea what it is to serve or have a kid serve. Less than 1% serve. All you have to do is attend any HS Graduation and then go to Parris Island on Family Day.

I do get it that so many of these young kids have so little baring BUT how many choices do you get?

And then there are the millionaires like Jameis Winston who never should have been able to get where he is.

I had dinner with Elle McPherson in Aspen a few years back. She couldn't have been lovelier or more engaged with a group of 6 people she didn't know.

She's still stunning; on the other hand, her husband is a billionaire with no personality.

Can't disagree at all with this. The only difference is Jimbob and cesspool would have kept him on the field.

Seriously what? I was asked an unknowable question. Do you really think everybody in the military isn't a kid? Really? That's simply not true. Not saying they shouldn't be admired and thanked I am saying it doesn't make you an instant adult not prone to making mistakes of the youth. I personally think it's a sin to send 18-2@ year old kids to theatres of war.

WRONG. You were not asked anything.
Wanne15 said "One of my sons is 19 in Afghanistan. I guess he’s man enough."
He didn't ask your opinion of his son. You came back with an insult.
