I’m not a fan of what this admin is doing to universities generally (including the undue influence Trump Jr. threw on our presidential search), but in this case UCLA played the classic FAFO game. There were literally videos of Jewish kids not being allowed in parts of the campus and their admin did nothing. So they played around and now found out. Even if they couldn’t have fully foreseen Trump’s election and vindictiveness, I can’t believe they were this myopic in how they handled it as an allegedly smart school. Same with Columbia. It cost them 200 million and a good chunk of their reputation.
