Sometimes it looked like he was only going 75%, but it's hard to hit 100% while you're carrying at least 75% of the rest of the team on your back.

His ankle was twisted by the player whoever tackled him in game 2 against Kentucky.

Expect in the NFL a progression that starts how he looked against Utah and then at various moments throughout the season. He played the near entire season hurt but having seen enough to know that underneath that injured player is a freak of nature.

AR has always been a “freak if nature” and the biggest, best athlete on the field. Yet, he hasnt completed a season on the field without an injury. In fact this is the first time since the 10th grade he played in all the regular season games.

His durability is a question mark. Also, for a QB who has had a private “guru” to work with for 5+ years he isnt translating the tutelage to the field. AR hasnt won any kind of championship in HS or college. Isnt winning a metric for evaluating the the QB leadership position? We also havent seen him improve the game of those around him.

AR will probably kill the combine with his arm talent and athleticism. Not sure the “triggering mechanism” is at the same level as the hardware. Hopefully AR has a solid career in the league, i wont be surprised if he doesnt

The good news is the officials in the NFL do a better job protecting QB's than SEC officials.

I also won't be surprised if he has the best pro career of any Gator QB, of course that bar isn't very high..lol

Was wondering if this team had won 8/9 games instead of 6, would he still have skipped the bowl game.

From what I’ve been told he may have skipped the CFP if we were undefeated. AR’s one and only goal is NFL.

If what TJtG posted is verifiable that “he was was going to sit out the playoffs if we made it that far” i stand by stand my post. That means we were “led” by a player with one foot out the door since August.

Many comments here indicate that AR was not giving his all for UF... and from what I and several others have witnessed on the field, that seemed to be the case may times. It that is the case why the hell is Napier starting him. I would not want him on my team. If he is picked first round - we'll see how he does. Zach Wilson has been a bust and he was selected #2 overall behind Trevor Lawrence.

One foot out the door since the moment he enrolled. Plan has always been 3 seasons then go pro. Nothing changed over the course of those 3 seasons.

I understand leaving at the end of 3years with that plan in place on the day they arrive. My issue is when do they shut it down? I have zero tolerance for a player sitting out a playoff game, meaningless bowl game on a middling team i can understand.

The high profile “semi pro” NIL players are open to criticism of business decisions as well as performance

Has nothing to do with playing a better choice. My comment was based on the op’s statement that AR considering sitting out a playoff run from day one.

If that is a verifiable statement we didn't further the culture rebuild by assigning a leadership position to a mercenary “semipro” who had considerations of bailing on his “teammates” once their usefulness to him was done all the while raking in a boatload of cash

That me first culture isnt healthy during a rebuild.

Once again my comment is based on verifying the op’s post. Otherwise, it is in response to a hypothetical situation.

Really hope no potential recruits or their families read some of the comments in this thread.

Why create a hypothetical “if” about any player and make negative comments about a player’s character or intent?

I wonder if Kitna had been pre-occupied with playing that he wouldn’t have had time to be fooling around on the internet
