    If I was an NFL owner, I’d trade away my first round choice for extra second and third round choices every year.

    First round picks cost too much.

    I’d opt for proven players.

    If AR were to be the #1 choice, he’s going to cost someone $50 million and chances of him being worth it are slim.

    I am a panthers fan and have predicted they will pick him. However they are on a roll and may not pick top 12.

    When people say things like this, I wonder if they are being tongue in cheek. The NFL scouts all saw the same thing we did all season long. What exactly makes any pro team think AR is any kind of solution that they would burn a first-round pick on?

    I’m serious. I’ll explain.
    The draft takes on a life of its own.
    AR is going to destroy the combine. Maybe best ever for a qb.
    There will be a lot of chatter, desperate teams will see what they want to see and then pick AR so someone else won’t get him. I expect him to be top 12. May be better.
    Then AR will crash and burn. And get hurt.

    but he will get picked high.

    There's no guarantee that he will fail. Today we really saw the offensive talent he had to work with. Even the Panthers have more than that.

    He played at about 75% at UF to save himself to ensure he could take care of his family financially.

    He's going to go all out after the money is in his bank.

    AR was admittedly going at about 75% to stay healthy for his huge payday.

    He knew going 100% couldn't save this team or scheme.

    Kentucky ate his lunch- that’s a fact. I promise you every nfl team is better than Kentucky.
    He could have stayed and learned and got better and you know actually beat Kentucky but he didn’t.
    It’s gonna be so much tougher than he realizes.
