AR has to decide if he wants to rs, then maybe play as a rs jr , or does he want to go to a school where he can be on the field during 3-4 years of his eligibility.

He's stronger but has accuracy issues. I like him because of his speed and powerful legs. I see the jones boys as quick, shifty runners but not necessarily dangerous. Richardson is a dangerous running threat.

Every QB should be ready to take a RS their freshman year with the exception of the top two or three in the class and only then if there is no returning starter and a solid backup on that team. Richardson is the kind of QB who could be brilliant with a solid year or two of practice with little PT but the wheels could come off if he was pushed in too soon.

Yes, but he will probably sit at least three years if he comes to Florida if either EJ or JJ pans out and quite possibly longer as JJ has five years eligibility if he takes a shirt.

DM should use AR like UGA used Hines Ward back in the day. A qb/wr/rb/absolute nightmare

So that begs the question, how many years does a QB need as a starter in order to make it to the next level? I personally think one great year, maybe two, is all that is needed.

I think when you get your QB stable loaded, guys should rarely be starting more than two years. Maybe start as RS Sophomore and Junior years then to the NFL. But with today's easy transfer rules it's going to be tougher to get guys to wait their turn. It sometimes might be advantageous recruiting projects with big upside that know they aren't ready instead of guys that think they are ready as freshman.

That's what helped FSU maintain such a consistent level of success late 80s-mid 2000s, their next starting QB was always taking over as a RS Soph or Junior.

Recruits can’t worry about QBs on the roster that aren’t playing. Every team has multiple QBs on the roster that they will need to beat out (except FSU). The only players they should worry about are players that have played in games. For example, Fields should have looked at Fromm starting as a freshman and taking them to the title game and not wanted to go there.

And now Beck sits only one year and it’s his job to lose.

Who won 11 games in his second year in the NFL, his first as a starter and led his team to their best record since Rex Grossman was their starting QB.

There are a lot of people that think Fromm is going to be a 4 year player.

Definitely could be. But Beck is still one injury from playing.

Maybe we'll get to see who Georgia's backup is this year. I kind of see that as their top issue.

If the answer were more than 2, then we should be in the xfer market. Getting a highly rated qb to sit 3 not likely, and even 2 isn't guaranteed.
