I think he will get a bump later on…and we are in position where we can take a developmental player.

This is a very very good pick up. Foster is a good one and should be, probably will be, ranked quite a bit higher.

170 as a hs kid at 6’2” isn’t far off. You don’t recognize most kids from 17 to 22. Most aren’t a man yet.

Filling the bottom of a class if you can call it that with kids of his stature is how you build great classes.

6”0.5 and 170 at this age ends up being 6”1.5 and 190.

I’ve been 6’3 since I’m 15 years old. Never grew another tiny bit. My father-in-law went from 5’9” to 6 foot after 18 years old. There’s no telling.

Foster is 6'2". He told a reporter that he is currently 175. He's thin now, but his frame can easily hold another 20 to 25 pounds. As an EE, he'll be on UF strength and conditioning come January.

Up until 1 1/2 years ago, Foster was a basketball player first and a football player second. Put playing CB and WR on top of that and we just got a fairly raw CB but higher talented player than the experts are giving credit for. My hope is Foster is allowed to concentrate on CB in his 23 high school season.

I have a feeling that Teddy Foster is going to become something special for the Gators and maybe beyond.

I like 6”2 much better but I’m pretty sure what I went with was current… I’d love to be wrong.
Agree with you 100%. He will be special player for us.

Love being wrong. 247 Sports, Rivals, and On3 have Teddy Foster listed at 6'2". 247 Sports and Rivals have him listed at 170. On3 has him listed at 175 which Teddy claimed with a reporter after he committed to UF.

The film I watched was on 247 Sports. His speed and hips look good.

Any idea on the date of those measurements? Also you never know if height with or without shoes

247 Sports says 6'2"/170. Blake Alderman of 247 Sports says 6'0.5"/170. I'll go with the 247 Sports site plus Rivals and On3 over 1 reporter posting height/weight without stating when the height/weight was taken by him or whomever.

Jackson claims 260 with an 80" wingspan in an interview on his commitment day.

Foster claims 175 with a reporter on his commitment day, probably On3 as they are reporting 175.

I'm not going to get into a whizzing contest over who reports what over what I have already posted from the recruiting sites. It could be the difference in being measured in shoes or not and when the measurements were taken.

Like I said I like your measurements just letting you know what Blake reported. Blake pretty solid/spot on. Not a big fan of ON3 for many reasons.

Good points. Blake Alderman’s report was yesterday so pretty recent but, as you mentioned could be w out shoes. Either way, great pick up!!!

Kid with that frame can weigh 180-185 of good weight in 30-45 days in a controlled weight program. No issue here.

Think about the change in your own kids physically from ages 10-13, this also happens to these young athletes in weight programs from ages 17/18-20/21. If he’s really 6’2” he could be a beast as Jr-Sr,….just have to keep him on the roster if he’s catching up.
