You will be the only people there
If I were in Miami, I would attend just to watch Alonso.
Greg, that’s the only reason anyone will attend!!!
My youngest son for some reason that nobody can figure out is a Marlins fan. My best guess is that we started taking him to Gator baseball games and he became a fan of the game and had the good sense to not want to watch a Rays home game. We went there once. It is a crappy stadium.
We have even driven to Miami and stayed a few days so that he could see some games in person. Sometimes two in a row. It was easy and cheap to get good tickets.
A few years ago we thought that we were going to a Nats game in DC. My son and wife set the whole thing up. At the last minute as we were ready to walk out the door I looked at the tickets and said we would need a time machine to see the game. The tickets were for the previous evening.
This is not a new thing. Many years ago my wife bought us tickets to see the Bulls versus the Hawks in Atlanta to see Hoah and Horford in the NBA. She was a week off the wrong way from when she thought the game was. I just happened to mention to her that I thought it was weird that the Bulls would be playing in Atlanta two Sundays in a row while I was making Sunday breakfast. LOL.
