Thanks for all your efforts @Gatorgal04!
It was fun to read through the game thread this evening—alumni games are always enjoyable to the players and fans alike—
On a side note today was the first day that we were able to deer hunt after Hurricane Michael here in Jackson Co. 9 point down—the ol’man can still shoot—
I hung in until 8 pm, cold finally got to me but I'd been at the Mac since 3 so 5 hrs was enough, glad to have the last coupole of innings, great job @Gatorgal04
I counted three doubles for Frosh 3rd baseman Cory Acton. Wow!
Ha! My brain was trying to force your last 2 sentences into the context of gator baseball there for a second or two!
Was “deer hunt” a euphemism for scouting a closer?? “Hurricane Michael” a seldom used descriptor for Byrne?
@Gatorgal04 in mid-season pbp form, just like several gators were at the plate!
Good times for a lifetime!
Thanks for the thread. Didn’t like reading about Dyson getting lit up like that a week before opening night. Definitely expecting some turbulence this season and hopefully a smooth landing (hopefully in Omaha )
Congrats Horns .. way to start the season. Is this a temporary season because of the hurricane or does general gun season have this time every year. I know Alabama season runs in January and you guys are more aligned with them . We kinda start early over here on the east coast.
Wish I could be sitting in a stand right now.
Regular season—NW Region runs thru Feb 18th then muzzleloader til the end of Feb., and Thanks!
Was just thinking: any coincidence the gators win the National title in the year of your jersey number?
Never thought about that .. hell yeah
