KJ with 16 points and 10 boards gives him his second double-double in the last two days.

K Hayes with 11 pts and 8 boards

AN with 20 pts and 6 assists

    Hudson with 13 pts

Allen with 12 pts and 5 boards along with a huge steal at the end of the game.

Some of the most balanced scoring we have had all season.

Yep, lot of heroes but a team win. Never quit White deserves credit for keeping this together.

With the weapons, talent, size, etc. that LSU has on their roster, we really had no business winning that game or taking the season series from LSU. Kudos to White* and the team for pulling that off. Just an amazing win IMHO!!! I agreed with the TV announcer (Dykes?) that it was almost like a pro team playing a college team, watching our generally head-shorter guys go toe-to-toe with LSU.

    Go Gators!!! :)

    * - And I agree that White has full responsibility for the strength of our roster, which is lacking some weapons, talent, and size at this point (partially due to injuries, but not totally). But, I think White is going to be a fine recruiter. He needed some time to get in "a groove" by establishing relationships with high schools and getting to the point of recruiting prospects to UF over multiple years, but he's reached that point now and seems to be hitting his stride in attracting some excellent talent. It's his responsibility to get us closer to "par" in talent with the rest of the league (not counting UK ) in short order, and I'm pretty confident he will.

I hate playing against S. Carolina, and I hate watching them play with Silva fouling all over the place and getting away with it.

But, I hope USC can beat Auburn, as I think we match up worse with Auburn than any other SEC team. Maybe, we can figure out how to handle them better if we face them in the next round, but in our earlier game, Auburn's speedy guards appeared to be the Kryptonite to our our normally stout defense.

I’m liking that little elbow jumper Hayes has developed. Where’s that been.

KJ also had 4 assists and 4 steals. All that and only 1 foul too.

This might be the most complete game by all 5 starters this season. And couldn't have picked a better time.

No kidding. That's one part of the court where he consistently catches the pass as well.

I noticed early in the second half our guys were communicating at a higher level with much more intentness than the first half. That told me we were in for a good second half. Hopefully that returns for one more game no matter who we play.

I’m a total homer so obviously I think we’re gonna win the next 8 games but I have to wonder out loud here. Is there something missing in Hudson and Allen , a chromosome or something. Nembhard, Johnson Locke and Hayes all have the same look, the look like they’d drown their first born in a bathtub to win a practice scrimmage game. Aka the thing Jordan had in spades and that bron as unbelievably great as he is wil never have. I would sell a kidney to get Allen and Hudson to show up over the next few weeks. Our defense gives us a punchers chance , we need a guy or two that can get us a basket when we absolutely have to have it. That’s supposed to be those two fellas.

I'm glad you mentioned that steal by Allen. LSU had the size and their big grabbed the offensive rebound, turned, and Allen snatched it away. Huge senior play at the end.
