I am still hopeful that NIL will help level the field in recruiting, but there is still a larger gap by far between 7th and the top 3 than 7th and 15th. That means we are likely to be in more dogfights than Georgia and Alabama and Texas because the SEC dominates that top 15 of which we are closer to the middle of the pack talent wise.
Exactly. This is the essense of the problem. Those teams have greater, much greater, depth than UF. UF finishes 7th, but how many SEC clubs are ahead of us? The conference is just crazy competitive with talent aquisition. Bama and UGA have high 4 and 5 stars losing spots and transferring out. I look forward to UF being in that scenerio.
