    I am

Out of all the nominees for Best Picture, I've only seen Black Panther. I am predicting that they will finally give Willem Dafoe an Oscar tonight

We go to a lot of movies. Black Panther was good but it was not even the best Marvel movie of the year. Just my opinion, the best movie we saw was Bohemian Rhapsody.

First time I've watched it in a while. Sometimes I just look at the nominees so I can figure out which movies to stream on Netflix.

For the longest time, it always seems like a Hollywood circle jerk to me

    I don't watch any more...

Too much posing, posturing and general Hollywood BS

    Green Book was terrific.

Viggo was so spot on to so many of the Italian dads in my Brooklyn neighborhood in the 1960’s.

I thought it looked like it would be good but I haven’t seen it. I really thought they would give it to Black Panther.

I didn't agree with a few of the winners. Olivia Colman def. deserved best female lead so I did agree with that. Mind the gap should have won best doc. way more of a story than Free Solo. The Green Book was not the best picture of the year by any stretch of the imagination. Effects should have gone to Infinity War and not First Man... But not having a host was nice, hopefully that will be the way it is.

I've only seen a few pictures so I don't have much of an opinion. But which movie should have won over Green Book?

I saw that movie and knew he would win for best actor. He nailed Freddy Mercury's mannerisms on stage. I also liked A Stat is Born, but still liked Rami's acting more.

I love movies, but NEVER get out to the theatre. We make it out about once every three years. Love to read the reviews here, though. As a musician, I'm interested in seeing Green Book. As a rock enthusiast, I look fwd to seeing Bohemian Rhapsody. I was a kid when Bette & Christoferson made "A Star is Born." That might be interesting. Thanks to y'all who share your movie takes here. :emoji_popcorn:

Wife and sis saw star is born and loved it. I saw the first remake with Streisand/kk and liked it. Passed on this one.

Saw Bohemian Rhapsody this afternoon. First matinee ive been to since i was a kid. Movie was good, but the music was the real star. The guy playing Brian May was a dead ringer. Malek nailed Mercury's mannerisms, but seemed too short for the role to me. And nice to see Lord Baelish in a new role as Mercury's mgr.

Saw Roma, pretty boring to us. Had never heard of Green Book.

Good story told well and very well acted. I liked it better before I knew so much of it was made up. I thought Roma and Black Panther were more deserving. The Favourite was right up there.

Best movie this year was Cold War. Don't know why they nominated Roma but not Cold War.
