We win, Auburn about to lose (hopefully) and so is LSU

Will be a 3-way tie for #2 and a chance to hold on if we beat UK at home on Sat

UK, Auburn, LSU, MSU lost this week.

Not a lot of bench points for us tonight.

The first half was abysmal but I sat in a sports bar in Tennessee with the announcers talking about Kentucky’s loss to Tennessee and kept it together, didn’t get mad but there were some bad calls on KBJ in the first half, and they mugged him every time he tried to get close and score. Scottie couldn’t hit the backboard in the first half I was thinking pull him out. But no, he started the second half and restored a little confidence in him with his offense down the stretch. Proud of him and the team. Johnson is the glue for this team. Nice to see Noah hit a number of threes tonight, his last one, Edwards put his head down as that’s probably it for us. On their senior night, made this even more impressive. It will be nice to go home and get some home cooking. (Sonny’s BBQ) LOL. Way to go Gators, I didn’t think you had it in you! Nice job coaches even, now let’s rock the Kitties!

Defense and rebounding was solid except for a few breakdown and some really good interior passing by the Poodles. Edward's was held in check pretty well.

And Tre was hustling for some rebounds which is good to see. Putting in the effort to help steal some extra possessions.

To be fair, it took some late-season collapses by the teams ahead of us to get to this point, but glad to see the team is currently in 2nd and hopefully on track to make some deep runs in the postseason tournaments.

    LSU started 8-0 (3-6 since)

    Auburn started 9-2 (2-4 since)

Yes had 4 boards and 1 on the offensive end. Might be his season high

Goodness, the UGA player comments about the game:

"It was hard for us to prepare for because we never knew what they were coming out with," Harris said. "I think that was the biggest thing, the way they played defensively."
