Can you provide a source for this statement? Lots of things I've read, including this article from Time Magazine (Here Are the Facts About Why the Government Shut Down), indicates the claim is false. Is there some opaque, technical point you are making or are you just repeating what the White House is putting out?

The WH is full of it. 1986 EMTALA forces all hospitals to treat every ER case. The Federal Government used to pay hospitals a portion of every bill for persons who could not pay. The One BBB ends this for undocumented immigrants, even if EMTALA is still law, and hospitals can't turn away patients in their ability to pay. This is the only "free healthcare for undocumented immigrants" the Ds are looking to continue. That's because it's the only healthcare undocumented immigrants are entitled to if they cannot pay. And again, hospitals have no choice but to give ER care. The Ds are also fighting to return subsidies back into Obamacare. Without them, it's estimated about 10 million Americans will lose insurance because their premiums are expected to rise 50% or more. And with inflation already getting close to 3% before the healthcare cost hikes, it's not like Americans can save elsewhere.

He's a great president who also has a great sense of humor unlike you and several others on this site. The only people who don't find this funny is mainly the far left

A person with a great sense of humor can take a joke. Trump is the ultimate snowflake. See late night talk show hosts as an example. Leaders with a sense of humor are also usually more self deprecating, and make it obvious when they are joking. At least half the country doesn't find Trump funny in a traditional sense, and need to be told often he was only joking.

Trump is clearly not a great leader and should not engage is trash nonsense but that was already known. However, it was still funny and not racist to normal folks. Both can be true. #cant wait for a moderate.
