Playing at Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn, AL. The Now Ranked (12) LSU Tigers come to town to take on the (7) ranked Auburn Tigers.

It might prove to be a hard game for the announcers who just want to say "1st &10 Tigers, since that might prove sort of confusing

In their last meeting, Oct.14, 2017, LSU came out on top by a score of 27-23

Both LSU and Auburn won their season openers against non-conference teams.... NOW , the fun begins... It's SEC football!!

    Not so fast my friend.
    Should be a barn burner.

★★★Lsu 21 - AUBURN 20—LSU’s new Burrow, who’s “managing” offense effectively (despite lackluster effort vs. SE Louisiana), owns burgeoning weapon in fast, powerful RB Brossette (262 YR, 6.4 ypc). Since AU’s star RB Stidham (only 9 of 28 in LY’s loss) not easily finding comfort zone vs. the Bayou Bengals’ top-tier secondary (again), points worth considering with LSU, which is a perfect 4-0 as an underdog for Ed Orgeron since 2017. AU mentor Gus Malzhahn only 4-11-1 as Jordan-Hare chalk since 2015. TV -CBS (17-LSU 27-Auburn 23...14-17 39/157 44/189 13/25/0/206 9/26/0/165 1/1 0/0) (17-LSU +7 27-23 o46; 16-AUB. +3’ 18-13 u46; 15-LSU -6’ 45-21 o49’...SR: LSU 29-22-1)

  12. War Eagle early and often. I still don't believe l$u is much of a team with coach zero.

Not convinced lsu is for real. Miami was just overrated. Expect a close Auburn win.

This looks like it could be a very inteerresting game...

These two teams will most likely be battling for the #2 spot in the SEC West behind Alabama.

I think Auburn wins this one easily. LSU beat an overrated and weak Miami team in game one, and Miami hasn't accomplished much since 2003. Richt had his usual deer-in-the-headlights look during the game. Last week LSU played a horrible SLU team (a rinky dink FCS college not much bigger than Santa Fe). And going into the 4th QTR, LSU was only up 24-0. LSU beat UF by a point last season, and we know how bad that Gator team was. I think LSU is vastly overrated.
