Day cares have been open this entire time in FL and I haven’t heard a peep about them. Our 3 and 7 year olds have been going daily since May here in FL. Not a single case has come out of their facility.

They only listen to science when it suits their liberal talking points. Otherwise they ignore it. Like Sweden’s schools and the CDC and 60k+ Pediatricians.

That’s because it doesn’t fit their talking points. Quite comical.

I am. What happens when school closes for two weeks after reopening? Then reopens again, only to have another outbreak? Kids need stability.

What happens to the kids if a teacher or school worker gets sick and dies? What about a parent? And while statically small probability, what if a student gets sick and dies?

Schools that already reopened have seen cases. Places that are hot spots, which there are currently 35 states that have at least one hot spot, will see community spread if/when schools open. And while there are better treatments, the more people who get COVID-19, the more people who will die.

Those of us who want to keep schools closed only want to slow the spread of the disease and keep more people alive. Keep the curve flatter until we have things under better control. Reopening schools will only promote the spread.

Less than 5 seconds on Google and found an article that shows nearly 1000 cases in California tied to daycare.

So it's selfish to want to keep other people safe?

That's some weird reasoning you got goin on there. Or maybe you meant it's pure selfishness-by-proxy?

How many times will you bring up this same concern? Sweden didn’t have any increase in cases due to kids at school. And it’s like you don’t give a crap what the CDC and 60K+ Pediatricians say. I’m done responding to your constant worries about teachers and administrators. Wear a mask like all other places that require masks to be worn. I don’t hear you worrying about grocery store workers or workers at restaurants.

What's the 60k+ pediatricians you keep mentioning. I'm not disputing, but what are liberals ignoring that the pediatricians are saying?

OK. I have some bad news for you. Kids die. Parents die. Teachers die. Kids die from the regular old flu at a MUCH higher rate than Covid. Is there any scientific based study or opinion to keep schools closed? I haven’t seen anything. Maybe they exist. It seems that all the “science” says open the schools. Post a link to some science stuff.
