Alabama’s “recent” Sagarin rating is #3! They are trending up!
Gators are trending up, but are #71 in the recent rating.
Gonzaga's dominant win over St. Mary's helped us quite a bit.
The committee is apparently really looking at who did you beat. And we match almost all of the top teams in that category
I'm thinking that feels a little high, since we feel like a 5-6 seed. But speaking of a little high.......Palm has us at 9, and based upon the quality of our wins, I think he's nuts.
Man, this seems high...but lets hope it stands.
This team is all over the place, so it should be no surprise that our predicted seed is too.
If you look at Bracket Matrix, we are a 6-seed, but among the 95 brackets, we are as high as a 3-seed and as low as a 10-seed. Contrast that with UK, who is also a 6-seed, but is as high as a 5-seed and as low as an 8-seed.
For some reason, every year Palm (CBS) always has us about 3 seeds lower than other brackets.
Would feel very weird to be in the East region while playing in San Diego. lol
<joke>Because as a top 4 seed you get placed as close to home as possible. </joke>
I am not getting excited about this 4 seed projection nor am I pissed off with Jerry Palm's idea of where we should be seeded.
All I care about right now is beating the Dawgs on Wednesday night.
I post this fwiw - which is probably very little. I don't agree with the order.

Best Chance to make the NCAA Tournament (via ESPN BPI) Auburn - 99.9% Tennessee - 99.9% Texas A&M - 99.6% Kentucky - 96.8% Florida - 93.6% Arkansas - 72.7% Mizzou - 70.4% Alabama - 70.3%
As always, just keep winning and the seeding will/shouldd work out.
Kentucky? Is Dick Vitale picking the teams or something?
So the reward for finishing second is to get UK and The Big Blue Nation on Friday night? Yikes.
Much rather be the 3 or 4 or Hope UK moves to the 8/9. Gotta win one SEC tourney game.
As all of us who have experienced 50+ seasons of basketball and March Madness are well aware, the last 10 games have a greater role in determining seed that anything else, also good wins and bad losses also count a lot.
We really won't know what seed to expect for any teams until after all of the Conference Tournaments are finished. I mean, who expected the 2013 team to be #1 Seed overall, matching the 2007 team, as well as many Duke, UNC, Kansas and Kentucky teams historically.
Auburn and Tennessee appear to have the easiest roads ahead, and the Gators, as ALWAYS, have the toughest end of season schedule in the SEC playing 3 of the top 4 teams with 2 on the road, plus Kentucky, who certainly has the talent to beat anyone on any day, although they've been in a slump similar to the Gators 2 slumps this year with 3 consecutive losses.
Relax folks.....we have a TON of games left to play and the bracket will look a LOT different when all is said and done....
Based on our last game, I would say we are a 3 or 4 seed. I just don't know when "that team" shows up. If it has been marginalized well then...tally-ho team!
I wouldn't want to face Texas A&M in our first game either.
