So no Tennessee or Texas, but also no solid shmaybe Missouri sweep either. Seems slightly easier than some of the schedules we’ve had in the years past, but it’s still the SEC so…
I wish home and away were swapped for the LSU and Auburn series. We went to LSU last year and they haven’t been to Gainesville since 2022. And I can’t even remember the last time we went to Auburn.
Non-Conference Series are much harder. In: Kennsaw State (87), High Point (93), UAB (144) - all ranks from the Massey composite Out: Air Force (195), Dayton (213), Harvard (251) + Miami swaps to a road series Mid-Weeks are somewhat easier. In: Stetson (64) , FIU (twice/131), BCU (187) Out: UCF (57), USF (85), Georgia Southern (128), UNF (181) SEC Series are similar, but I'd say a bit harder (Missouri-2025 being historically bad for an SEC team) In: LSU (1), Auburn (10), Oklahoma (26), TAMU (33), Kentucky (36) Out: Tennessee (7), Vanderbilt (8), Texas (11), Miss. St. (27), Missouri (172)
Each team skips 5 others each year. For Arkansas, it's the other top 3 in the 2025 SEC standings plus the 2024 MCWS finalists: Texas, LSU, Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.
Don't go starting with that logic stuff and, please..., Gator preferences are not a priority. SEC made it clear the first two years with 16 teams would be disconnected from 14 team schedules and 2026-ongoing schedules would not be tied to 2024-25. Scheduling starts fresh in 2026 following whatever new structure they now have chosen.
Game times (at least first guess) are now available at: 2026 Baseball Schedule - Florida Gators All times subject to change, due primarily to TV schedules, weather, and opponents griping about travel. I'd bet on some 6:30 pm midweeks going to 6 pm, as that seems to happen every year (so strange, since the schools don't move and the roads haven't disappeared mid-season, but what do I know...) Also, I'd be shocked if Ole Miss doesn't throw a Hall of Fame tier hissy about playing a 7:30 pm road game the night before Easter.
Personally I would enjoy the opportunity to hit Coastal Carolina right dead in the mouth this year—but that’s just me…
Agree. Let's hope we host a regional and they come to Gainesville. Their head coach ran his mouth to the press way too much for my taste.
2021. Sat was rained out. Split the DH on Sunday (2 7 inning games) UF won opener on Friday 4-2. J.Fabian had a 2 run HR. Bad AU team 10-20 25-27 Would assume UF will be at AU next year.
Hope we see them. Their coach was very bold knowing the changes that occurred. Wonder how he’d feel if he had his pitcher warmed up and then told about a schedule change.
