That's almost comical. I don't know if it says more about the era or that he wants to see if his price goes up.
Not good. 1 DT recruit with a popped ACL (and who knows what else once they get in there to clean it up). I know that young ppl recover much more quickly than old farts like myself, but a popped ligament is at least a 6-9 month recovery. He'll be lucky to be full go for Fall practice in 2026.
:nods: Bad news. He's a big person. I thought about the possibility modern surgery can make ligaments stronger but found:
I tore my quad tendon(s) in 2020. I had surgery July 6 and didn't get discharged from PT until end of March the next year and I sure wasn't full go on that knee at that moment, but I'm no athlete beyond jogging. That tendon is still tight and the leg is weaker than the other one.
