I agree, especially with linemen, Who is offering seems more important than stars.

 

Most of them were EE’s too, which I don’t think he gets enough credit for.

 

Seems like "Shutting it Down" should be taken as what we all used to think of as being "Committed".

 

If he has been in the weightroom while doing that he must look really impressive because he has a huge frame.

 

All but Nixon I believe. And that was more us than him.

 

It's cool to see those posts about shutting down their recruitment, but does that mean we need to worry about the ones that haven't?

 

I honestly don't understand why kids proclaim they're "committed" when they clearly are not committed. If you gotta say something, say which school you like the most, but don't say you're "committed" to that school until you're committed to that school. Shutting down recruitment is something that should immediately follow the act of saying you're committed. DUH

"Holding their spot". Think about that. . . . . reserving the right to secure a spot on a team's roster, while leaving open your option to defect at any moment right up to NSD, leaving that team to scramble to fill that spot at the last minute. What's wrong with that picture?

 

Well it’s all the same edit so I assume the university is involved. I think (and hope) the staff is pushing them to do this. It worked great for Dabo, and I personally find it annoying when people commit then go looking elsewhere anyways

 

That’s what they do like it or not some are fully committed some arn’t

 

Give their spot to someone who is committed and they can cry t like tge Bama kid

 

I predict when our team is once again established as a contender for championships, we won’t have to demand that commits shut down their recruiting - they’ll do that on their own

 

Shut it down if you expect to not get pushed out. If your taking visits and a better player wants to commit, watch for that door about to hit you in the ass.

 

He was a 4* but was a Grantham type player. Would have taken him a few years to gain enough weight for the SEC.
