Well that didn't take long.
Well, Just one school, USC, already has 3 5 stars committed (about 10% that will be named 5 stars) and the historical percentage of flips is kind of low, so we likely don't have to wait long to see where a lot of these highly recruited kids are going to end up signing. Unfortunately that has put our coaches at a disadvantage for 23 kids. We will see if they can do some flips and make relationships quickly.
I can’t believe I actually clicked on the link. Had no idea triscuits came in so many flavors
I've seen them. I'll even give you a quick rundown. No spots have changed, same as last year.
touting the 23 kids as dream team is a lil hokey
Not if you're one of those players
All those USC kids were local kids waiting for an opportunity to go there. This wont impacts us much.
Getting a repeat visit from 4-star 6'4"/300 DL Jordan Hall out of Jacksonville Westside.
Lots of high-quality kids to visit in March. Including Webb and MacLaine
Looking forward to a full recruiting cycle. 2024 will be the big one.
I'm not sure money hasn't changed hands to make an appearance of one school getting a lead on these kids. I know something shady is happening to the rankings of kids that commit to the Gators. We've seen way too many examples of that lately.
AJ Harris will visit in March. Top 3 or 4 CB
especially for a qb. The elite qbs get recruited young and commit early - we MAY be kind of late to get one of the top 2023 qbs. Though..with so many staff changes around the country that mah help.
Thats why I will reserve serious judgement until '24. That gives him a couple years to get ised to the SEC footprint, the new facilities to come online, and he and his staff to make serious inroads to Florida HS's. I expect that to be a top 5 year.
Won't last long per the kings of FL FB, UCF.
Yes, those particular west coast kids aren't impacting us. We aren't very far along in recruiting with CBN, but it is easy to see Florida recruits are being prioritized.
As they should be, should have been all along
Any chance we can take the 23 WR from Milton, Florida back from UGALY? The kid grew up a Gator, but clearly didn't want any part of UF with the previous coaching staff.
Well, he committed to the previous staff lol.....and then they totally ignored him until he went away. Remains to be seen if the new staff is interested, but he doesn't seem to have become a priority as yet.
