Damn I didnt see that interception stats... well here we go again.. lol..

Good thing he will be throwing short passes in throw in short passes in Mullen's offense...

Then Mullen gets credit as QB guru for making him better because he doesn't throw as many interceptions... lol

I watch this film you look pretty good throwing the ball.

I did a little research. Dak Prescott's completion percentage was almost identical his sophomore year in high school. Then it jumped up to 64% by the time he graduated. Then he developed for a couple more years under Mullen before he was starting on a regular basis.

Brown is similar in that he is athletically gifted (cannot be coached), but needs to improve as a passer (can be coached). He has two more years to develop as a passer in high school, and then if he ends up at UF he'll probably have another two years to develop before he actually plays a game. I think you have to project what Brown will look like with 4 more years to refine his game. At that point I think he could be a devastating dual threat QB.

If I’m correct in the highlights we’re seeing for Brown are from his sophomore season, I’m not sure why more keyboard QB coaches aren’t excited about this young man’s ceiling. He won the starting QB job at a South Georgia power as a 6’3” 220 pound sophomore, totaled over 2,800 yards of total offense and looks like a leader and not a first year QB. Not sure if he’s faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive or if he leaps tall buildings in a single bound - but he might by the time he’s a senior. I’d bet his passing stat’s will improve by then as well. I’m with Bobby on this kid.

Brown is the #5 ranked dual threat QB for the 2022 class according to one of the recruiting services. He's a composite 4 star. He's an elite athlete with a solid throwing motion. He's not a complete product (hence no 5 star ranking), but if you watch his highlight tape the kid has a lot of attributes that simply cannot be coached.

He runs with some power. Has a little wiggle to him. He also breaks tackles. And he has an effortless looking throwing motion. The dude passes the eyeball test. He just has to work on some things before he is ready for the spotlight.

Would like to make him the priority of the 2022 class at QB. Only take him that will keep good class separation and set him up to be a 2 year starter.

So, would we be considered late to the party, or early for him?

To make it better, Jamie Felix a 2022 RB who has UF as his leader, echo'd that statement as well

Felix is DAMN GOOD at baseball too

I do like the "home not hype" sentiment from these guys. Fits Mullen's recruiting persona, I think.

Sweet stroke at the plate. We've had football players before that can play on the diamond as well (see Doug Johnson and even Jeff Driskel). Why not again.

Baseball too.....hmmm....does that mean if he really screws up at UF and turns into a total world class dip shit that we can suspend him from a couple meaningless baseball games he didnt plan on playing in?[/QUOTE]
