Landed an offer from the staff recently and reportedly wants to leave the state of Georgia and has been on campus quite a few times. Attends Lowndes HS in Valdosta, GA. SEC schools already on him as is Miami. We're going to be a finalist at the very least, im calling it now

True dual-threat that put up 1,330 yards passing on 56.3% completion percentage with a 10-6 TD-INT split as a sophomore to go along with a whopping 1,559 yards and 20 TD's on the ground.

    Jacurri Brown, Lowndes, Dual-Threat Quarterback

Situation looks promising and he seems like a great fit in the system. Also a couple on this board have mentioned this kid already.

Dude can really run. Completion percentage is low, but the film shows a pretty live arm. Sorta 3/4 throwing motion but a quick release. He’d be great in Dans system.

There was one highlight in that tape where he looked like Tommy Frazier against the Gators. Eight guys couldn’t bring him down.

Thanks Bobby, btw our friend Gator Growl can throw in here but Lowndes / Valdosta plays high level HS football, big school so the competition is good.

    Certainly seems to appreciate CDM.

Looks like UF is in decent position

Have to like his multiple visits and family positive with UF. Of course Micah Morris visited more and committed to Uga. Apple's and oranges by position. Mullen is at the top in QB development, and QB tend to want to commit earlier than OL. He will have no shortage of suitors for his commitment.

No chance he leaves the state after Newman lights up the scoreboard as the most dynamic DT QB ever in college football history and goes 1st in the draft with the amazing offense that Monken installs in 3 weeks and unleashes against an unsuspecting SEC. Did I get that media, Georgia p.r. dept. and Mel Kiper take right?

Best dual threat QB in this area since Valdosta High's John Bond.....who signed with Miss State despite UGA wanting him bad. For whatever reason UF has never landed a kid from Lowndes High.

With a 56 percent completion rate I don't know if I will call him a dual-threat. To me he's just a running quarterback.

Then you'd said the same about Anthony Richardson and his 48% completion % as a HS jr.

Impressive highlights for any QB - especially a sophomore. His passing will only improve. He plays good opposition as well.

That's exactly what I said about Richardson.. but from the film I've seen Richardson is a better thrower and athlete i believe than Brown...

This is my whole thing... I wish we would focus on guys who are more advanced throwing the ball...

The heavier built guys that can run and are limited throwing can only take you so far when you go against the elite defenses. I WAS NOT THE BIGGEST FAN OF JALON JONES... HE LOOKED HORRIBLE THROWING THE BALL...

Most of the guys that we have recruited it's going to take them a couple of years to get polished into the passing game. I believe that there are guys out there that we can find better better passes. That's just my opinion...

I think Emory Jones is the best natural passer out of the guys that Mullen his recruited. I believe that when he goes to Pro they will change his throwing motion. He winds up before he throws.. not the greatest throwing mechanics. Once he smooth that out I believe that it will help his accuracy. I REALLY LIKE HIM HE HAS A FREAKING HOSE FOR AN ARM... I can't believe he has been there that long and no one has corrected that wind up

Lowndes HS is no joke either. They usually have some great talent stockpiled there too.

I'll take him. Good size, electric runner, can make plays necessary in Mullen's offense.

Anthony Richardson's completion percentage went up substantially his senior season. Lets us see if Jacurri Brown can make a similar jump.

It'll take him a few years anyways if he comes here and that's fine since he'll have time sitting behind Richardson and Del Rio
