Appears to have had legit offers from Penn State and Ohio State as well. Sounds like a nice addition to the recruiting class.
Congrats young man. With the TE recruiting finished... can use Brewster to attack the remaining targets
Numbers 1 and 2 on the rankings now...
... moving on up...
Welcome Nick. Fine looking Gator family you have there.
Guess we're done at TE now.
Time to get Brewster working on RB, OL, and DBs!
Welcome young Gator. Good addition to the TE room. Now I’m wondering if Brewster’s separation agreement with NC keeps his announcement to the Gators from being “official” for a time. He’s a valued addition to the staff and I hope his family loves Gainesville and stays a long time.
Brewster is a game changer for us
Not sure if serious...
Just kidding. I think we need to give him at least until February, but think he will be a game changer.
Won't stay that high unless our average player rating moves up a few points. It's around 90 right now. That could change really fast with one or two of the five star visitors from this weekend committing. As usual, we should expect some of the current commits to earn additional stars.
We will see Brashard Smith & Elksnis get a 4th Star at some point. And I can see one of the 3 star guys getting trimmed soon.
This will be the year we jump into the top 5. Though, if we land Evans and factored in the transfers, this would have been a top 5 class anyway.
At this point, I care more for Mullen evaluations. He was correct regarding Ethan White and the analysts were wrong. Smith is much better than his 3 star rating and height/size is what has his star ranking lower, not on field performance. Elk is a TE that UF, Penn State, Ohio State and LSU all wanted. Great height and size for a TE with another year to develop in HS. Those programs recruiting him know better than the analysts.
What? You’re not giving all your respect to the teenage jock sniffers from the rating services.
IIRC Boone is also someone who is mentioned as being grossly underrated.
I hear you but let's just pump the brakes on Ethan White cause it remains to be seen how he will progress. He didn't stand out when he played last year and only played due to how bad our OL was
I thought his fundamentals were pretty good for a freshman. He obviously was raw, but I thought he filled in pretty good.
TE recruiting.. okay!
Oline takes a lot of development to become serviceable. I thought he did well for a raw high school kid.which is what he was, really. His ceiling physically and mentally remains to be seen as Bobby eluded to, but you can tell hes a sponge and hes all in. That's half the battle and something our trenches have mostly been lacking.
I watch the OL pretty close since that's what I played. I think Ethan is going to end up as an excellent OL in the SEC.
