So I am pleased with where recruiting is now and believe that the staff will finish up strong for the ‘20 class..but that’s not my main focus here. The problem I still have is that we let top talent leave the state too much for anyone’s liking and it needs to be addressed. I like the staff but if anything could be moved around to hire coaches who actually enjoy recruiting and see it as essential to the the success of our program- I’m all for that. We already see Mullen and the staff forgetting Cali and moving their focus towards places such as, Maryland, Louisiana, Georgia, Texas & probably even North & South Carolina- which is great. But as most of us know Florida is an obvious hotbed for recruiting year in and year out. So, with the dead period being officially over it looks like the staff is already working towards focusing on the state after sending out personal letter to top in-state talent. Here is a list of kids we must go after with everything we have.. 2021: Terrence Lewis LB 5 stars (former commit) Bryce Langston DE 4 stars (Former commit) Jason Marshall DB 4 stars Agiye Hall WR 5 stars Mario Williams WR 4 stars (Arguably best wideout in Florida along with Hall) James Williams S 5 stars Leonard Taylor DT 4 stars Corey Collier DB 4 stars Xavian Sorey ATH 4 stars Trevonte Rucker WR 4 stars (Former commit) Marcus Tate OL 4 stars Saivion Collins DT 4 stars (UM commit) Dink Jackson ATH 4 stars (Former commit) Gage Wilcox TE 4 stars Markevious Brown DB 4 stars - have to prioritize the state and get the top guys every year.
