KR: Richie Leonard- Low 3* (85) 2020 recruit. Lowest rated UF 2020 signee. Appeared in 8 games, started 1 game. Starting LG in 2023. KR: Michael Tarquin- Appeared in12 games at OT. Started 2 games. Started 8 games at RT in 2022. Overview: Grade B-/C+. Disappointing year. I gave it a B- because Reese/Delance improved. No overall growth from previous season. Lost two key SRs from 2020, but Leonard was the only new contributor. The mid-season firing of Hevesy then Mullen at the end of the season upended the position. This also ended the maligned two year run of Reese/Delance at RG/RT. I think the criticism, especially for Reese, was hypercritical. Delance's best position was OG, but UF needed him at RT. He was also better in 2021. All in all they were fine. For perspective, Gator nation would have walked on fire to have Delance start at OT in 2023. Three Man Recruiting Class plus a quality walk-on, the late Kaleb Boateng. One 4* and two 3*. Two big hits and one miss... We see our first players on the 2025 OL debut in 2021. Austin Barber OT 4*. Recruiting grade: 90. Yousef Mugharbil OG/OT 3*. Recruiting grade: 88… Thought he was going to be good, but he was the miss. Jake Slaughter OC 3*. Recruiting grade: 85. 2nd lowest rated UF signee.
