I dont really look into recruiting 2 years away most of the time they end up decomitting. I mean look at this years decomitts. Had some great recruits that committed early on then decomitted. It usually happens that way unless they are straight up die hard gators forreal.

Fair points. But would rather have strong early class than not. Does at least create momentum, brand strength, and positive PR ... especially if early commits are elite.

Your right I mean I'd rather have great recruiting early on to show some positivity.

We also have to consider we obtained a new staff. It's hard for me to understand how those kids that commited to Mac, who couldn't coach a lick and from all accounts was just an unorganized douche of guy, only to decommit when we hire a good guy and an excellent coach with an amazing strength coach. Those kids should have been salivating over playing for Mullen.

I cant wrap my mind around it.

Because those kids wanted to play under a lax BS system that Mac had. They dont want to be accountable and bust their ass and have to give relentless effort under Mullen.

Yeah, and that's unfortunate. Mullen will find the kids who'll buy in.

    # 5 SDE Tyreke Sapp 6-2 255 of St Thomas Aquinas. Ft Lauderdale, Florida ****
Ranked #83 in the nation and had 13 sacks this year for STA. Sapp and Langston are going to be quite the pair.
This is the Gators 4th Top 100 commitment for 2021 already and plenty of time left for more.

#4. DE Bryce Langston 6-3 212 of Vanguard High School. Ocala, Florida. *****
    12.2.2018. Commitment.

Before letting their decisions effect your emotions good or bad or your feelings on where our program is headed, remember they are 15-16 year old kids.
