He reminds me of Terrance Cody, who was just a big and could move just as well. Hope he lives up to TC abilities. Seeing his athleticism, I believe he is going to be a standout in the middle.
I was looking at their 247 profiles, and Page is actually an inch shorter, and 10 pounds heavier...yet only Watson gets dinged for carrying bad weight.
Im still baffled, watch these two and tell me what are the differences
Seems like Coach Taylor has a strong hand to sell playing time for another difference making DT to play next to Dexter and Watson. Who are you going to double team? Watson at 340-350 is at least a high 4-star. I’ve seen houses that are easier to move.
Just committed and he weighs 350.
Taylor, if he came to UF, would be used like Zach Carter. SSDE who has the skill to slide inside occasionally
my coworker were just saying the same thing
We obviously aren’t the media darlings just yet.
@candymanfromgc —- why was this off topic .?
Im posting about Watson creating trouble for opponents, and get an off topic?, yet other posts has Wonder Women doing a dance and that is fine. SMH !
If you have any question that this kid is grossly underrated, just look at his offers - Bama, LSU, UGA, FSU, Miami, Michigan, Kentucky, UNC, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Tennessee have all offered. That list rivals most high 4-star kids.
We’d better hang onto him - hang on tight
If TOS is correct he’s not within 20 pounds of 350. The young Gator to be said he got up 390+ but got on Savage’s program and lost 20 since he committed to the coaches a month ago. The only reason he’s a 3-star is due to the fact he tired quickly in camps. When fresh he’s unblockable.
No way in hell that kid is close to 290. His rear is wider than my shoulders.
I'm so glad we weren't slow playing him and hoping for other players. Watson could turn out to be a 5 star DT just like Jared Davis did.
Stars are fun. But they aren't everything.
Thanks for catching my mistake. He’s quoted as saying he was 390+ but had lost 20 pounds since committing to the staff a month ago.
I don't think anyone can fault you for that error. 290 makes more sense in the brain than 390. 390 is a huge number for a human's weight.
That's two normal humans.
I thought only bad news and doom and gloom was allowed in the recruiting forum.
What’s 100 pounds when you’re talking tonnage? Can you imagine Slaughter and the rest of the interior OL having to block Watson every scrimmage? The young man moves very well for a one. His first step is surprising. It will nice to see push up the middle.
